Detekt is a modern geospatial data platform supporting the entire mobile mapping and asset management life cycle. On January 19th, Matthias Dorfer (Head of AI at enliteAI) was invited to give a speech about Detekt to the Austrian Society for Surveying and Geoinformation.

Mobile mapping is the process of collecting geospatial data with vehicles equipped with a photographic device, GNSS, LiDAR-scanner, or any other remote sensing device to visualize and understand environments. Having access to mobile mapping data gives you the opportunity to inspect an area comfortably from your desk, without the need to physically travel to a given location. At enliteAI, we are taking mobile mapping a step forward by combining traditional survey methods with Artificial Intelligence to support the full asset management and condition monitoring process in public space.
