Less than two years after raising our seed round in 2023, Detekt has reached an important milestone: joining forces with one of the most established players in the industry - a move that validates both the team’s execution power and the strategic relevance of AI-driven road infrastructure intelligence.
Detekt was founded with a clear mission: to automatically detect and assess road infrastructure with AI.
In a short amount of time, the company built a strong product offering for Mobile Mapping analytics and established itself as a leader in the space. Detekt’s technology helps infrastructure owners and mapping operators generate actionable insights at scale — enabling better maintenance decisions, improved safety, and more efficient allocation of resources.
This exit is a testament to the outstanding work of the Detekt team, who have achieved remarkable progress over a very short period.
